Lawncare FAQ’s

Q: I don’t get a chance to water my lawn often, is this a problem for the fertilizer to work correctly?

A: No, but we are offering a new program this year, the Recession Saver!  With this new program we use a temperature release fertilizer which is different from the normal moisture release fertilizer.  Call for details.

Q: My lawn was just mowed after you fertilized my lawn, will this mess up the application?

A:  We flag the lawn because adults, children & pets are to stay off the lawn for 24 hours, this includes landscapers. If it is a necessity to mow that day, the high speeds of the mower blades will pulverize the pellets, your lawn should be ok but if you have any concerns please call us.

Q: How often do you come to my lawn each year?

A: On a Premium 8x program, we will come out every 6-8 weeks.

Q: Why do I have so many weeds along my driveway and road edge?

A:  We call these areas “Hot-Zones”, they are places along the pavement that tend to get very warm and create a happy environment for weeds to grow in, but don’t worry, we will spray those for you.

Q: I just got my first service last week, how long until I see results?

A: With in two weeks your lawn should be greener and you should notice stimulated growth. It takes time to treat any lawn.  Most people want overnight results, but the reality is that it takes time to see a difference.  Pretty soon you will notice that your lawn is green and weed free.

Q: Why won’t my weeds die?

A:  We spray the weeds every time we come out to service your lawn.  It may take several days for the weeds to shrivel up and die.  It may take up to several weeks for the weed to completely disappear.  New weeds may have emerged since our last visit; we will spray those the next time we come.
