Grub Control

Usually applied in early summer, a Preventive Grub Control is applied to the lawn to stop any problems BEFORE they happen.  If you have grubs in the lawn we also offer a Curative Grub Control.

Discovering grub damage is definitely bad news for lawns. Grubs are the larva (or worm) state of many types of beetles. The beetles lay their eggs in your lawn, and the newly hatched worms work their way through the thatch and into the soil.

Once underground, they can destroy your lawn’s root system. White Grubs show up in well-kept lawns for one reason. To fatten themselves up by eating the roots of your grass. Grubs feed underground and out of sight. They don’t really care if your grass dies in the process. But we do.

Let us prevent (or stop) these unwelcome dinner quests before they cause severe damage and turf loss on your property. Call to order Grub Control for your lawn today!

Q: How do I know my yard is infested with grubs?

A: When grubs start feeding you will notice a small yellow area that over time gets larger.  To determine if you have grubs, peel back the yellow section of grass to expose the dirt.  You will know immediately if you have grubs, an example of an infestation is shown below. (SEE GRUB DAMAGE PICTURE)
